The injury occurred during Chelsea's draw with Arsenal last weekend, causing Hampton to miss the Champions League win over St. Polten. Despite her absence, Chelsea remains focused on their upcoming matches.

Hampton's injury means she will likely miss England's friendlies against China on November 29 and Ghana three days later. When asked about her availability for these matches, Bompastor said, "It could be the case, yes." Livia Peng stepped in for Hampton against St. Polten and is expected to continue in goal during her recovery.

Chelsea currently holds second place in the Women's Super League (WSL), trailing Manchester City by just one point. The team has an opportunity to set a new record for the longest unbeaten streak in WSL history when they face Liverpool this Sunday.
