Jorrel Hato of Ajax has expressed his contentment in Amsterdam, despite interest from English Premier League teams. Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the young talent during this transfer window. Hato debuted in the Eredivisie in February 2023, becoming Ajax's third-youngest debutant at 16 years and 335 days, following Ryan Gravenberch and Clarence Seedorf.
The versatile defender has played 111 matches for Ajax across all competitions, contributing three goals and nine assists. Hato can operate as a centre-back or left-back and is contracted with Ajax for another three years. He hinted at a willingness to remain with the club, stating that evaluating each season individually is wise.

Hato shared his aspirations on Ajax's website: "Of course, you want to achieve things in the end: the Champions League, a World Cup and a European Championship. I still have plenty of time. I don't think I absolutely have to win the Champions League in two years."
The young player emphasised the importance of performing well against top teams in the Dutch league to showcase his abilities. He believes that continuous development in areas where he already excels is crucial for reaching the highest level.
Reflecting on his journey with Ajax, Hato described it as feeling like home: "Ajax is home for me. I just feel at home here." This sentiment underscores his strong connection to the club amidst external interest.
