Fulham's head coach, Marco Silva, is enthusiastic about the growing rivalry between forwards Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz. Muniz recently scored twice in their 2-1 FA Cup win over Wigan Athletic, having also netted the winner against Newcastle in their last league match. Silva believes this competition for a starting spot is beneficial for the team.
"It's great competition between him and Raul, definitely," Silva stated. "It's always good when you have two strikers that have been scoring goals, and important goals for us." In their recent Premier League game against Newcastle, both players found the net. Silva appreciates Muniz's performance, especially his second goal, which showcased skills they've been honing with him.

Silva made ten changes to his lineup for the FA Cup match but maintained consistency in play. He praised Muniz's ability to adapt and perform well when given a chance to start. "Rodrigo did something that is really strong. Inside the box is really strong," Silva noted. The coach sees this as a positive challenge in deciding who best fits each game's strategy.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest's head coach Nuno Espirito Santo defended his decision to rotate players during their FA Cup win over Exeter City on penalties. Nuno altered his squad significantly from the team that defeated Brighton 7-0 in their previous Premier League match, with only Danilo retaining his starting position.
Nuno explained that giving players game time helps them stay fit and ready for both league and cup competitions. "If everyone has minutes in their legs, it will make things easier for us [in the Premier League], I hope," he said. He emphasised that there are no fixed starters or substitutes; rather, it's about rewarding hard-working players with opportunities.
Raul Jimenez of Fulham has been in fine form, scoring three goals in his last two league games against Nottingham Forest. He is close to reaching double figures in league goals for the first time since 2019-20. Jimenez also contributed to Fulham's comeback win over Newcastle United.
For Nottingham Forest, Chris Wood stands out as a key player. Since last season, only Chelsea's Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson have combined for more Premier League goals than Wood and Anthony Elanga. Wood ranks third among top scorers this season with 17 goals.
Fulham have historically performed well against Nottingham Forest, winning four of their five Premier League encounters (L1). They have also won two of their last three league matches (L1), matching their success rate from the previous ten games (D6 L2). A victory would mark consecutive league wins for the first time since November.
On the other hand, Nottingham Forest have won eight of their last ten Premier League games (D1 L1), achieving five clean sheets during this period. A win would see them reach 50 points in a top-flight season faster than any campaign since 1995-96.
The Opta Win Probability suggests Fulham have a 44% chance of winning, while Nottingham Forest stand at 29.2%, with a draw at 26.8%. Despite recent form favouring Fulham, Forest have managed three wins in their last twelve meetings with Fulham.
