Hilarious Tweets after Brazil's 7-1 defeat to Germany

Belo Horizonte (Brazil), July 9: Brazil's thrashing of 7-1 by Germany in the FIFA World Cup 2014 semi-final last night (July 8) not only set new records on Twitter but resulted in fans poking fun at the team on the micro-blogging site.

Fans across the globe were shocked to see the German rout of Brazil in Belo Horizonte. While many Brazilians sympathised with the team there were plenty others who took to Twitter to make fun of them.

One of the most hilarious tweets was a picture of a goalkeeper sitting by the goal-post and the message reading "Germany's goal keeper playing Brazil today."

Another one had the picture of Brazil's famous statue Christ the Reedemer with the caption "We lost by this much."
