The Indian football fans are set for a treat as FC Goa have drawn with Al Nassr in the AFC Champions League Group Two.
The ISL giants, known as the Gaurs, are slotted in Group D along with Al Nassr, which ensures a match against Ronaldo's team on Indian soil. Apart from them, the other two clubs of the group are Iraq's Al Zawraa and Tajikistan's FC Istiklol.

It promises to be an absolute spectacle in Goa when Al Nassr arrives at the country. Cristiano Ronaldo and his team is expected to come to India in any of the six match days of the group stages, which can span from September to December.
But as Goa will brace for a top spectacle, another Indian club Mohun Bagan Super Giant will also be in the competition. Interestingly, Lionel Messi will arrive to Kolkata on December 10 as part of a three-day programme in India. But to be very honest, instead of Fatorda Stadium, Cristiano Ronaldo could have also graced the grass of the Yuba Bharati Krirangan, but it wasn't to be by a whisker.
Mohun Bagan have been placed in Group C along with Sepahan, Al Hussein and Ahal FC - but they literally had a 50-50 chance to draw with Al Nassr.
Mohun Bagan were placed in Pot 3 of the Champions League 2 draw. In the Pot 3 draws, Mohun Bagan and and FC Istiklol were the two last remaining clubs to be drawn. With the first two clubs from Pot 3 allotted to Group A and Group B, it was a toss between the Mariners and Istiklol for a place in Group C, and unfortunately, the name of Mohun Bagan emerged, which automatically placed Istiklol in the Group D, along with Al Nassr. Thus, Kolkata, the home of football in India, missed out on having the Portugal star.
