Lionel Messi has chosen MLS side Inter Miami owned by legendary David Beckham as his next destination after leaving Paris Saint Germain upon the expiry of his contract.
The 35-year-old will play outside Europe for the first time since he joined Barca's academy at the age of 13. Messi played his final game for PSG over the weekend, with his last appearance coming in a 3-2 defeat to Clermont Foot.

Messi reportedly received an offer close to €500 million per season from the Middle East, however, he rejected it for a fee close to €50 million per season (4.4 Billion INR) from Inter Miami.
This may look like a stupid choice, however, some underlying numbers could tell otherwise. Messi will reportedly receive a share of all Messi-based merchandises Adidas sells after he joins the MLS club while a part of the revenue generated by Apple's MLS streaming will also be pocketed by the little maestro.
Not only that there are rumors that a future stake in the MLS side will also be presented to Messi once he hangs up his boots, making the deal a truly lucrative one for the former Barcelona man.
