Lamine Yamal's new contract with FC Barcelona, reportedly sets his base salary at approximately €15 million (£12.5m/$17m) per season, equivalent to about £260,000-£325,000 per week after tax.

Bonuses and Total Earnings: With performance-related bonuses and a signing-on fee, Yamal's total annual compensation could reach just shy of €40 million (£33.5m/$45.3m) before tax, potentially making him Barcelona's highest-paid player, surpassing Robert Lewandowski's estimated €36 million gross for the 2025-26 season.

Contract Length: Yamal's new contract extends until June 30, 2031, a six-year deal that will keep him at Barcelona until he is 23 years old.

The previous contract, signed in October 2023, included a €1 billion release clause, and while Barcelona has not officially confirmed the release clause for the new deal, some reports indicate it remains at €1 billion (£838m/$1.1bn). Others suggest the club has adopted a policy of keeping the buyout clause undisclosed.
