It was a tale of two halves that saw Hyderabad take lead through Javier Siverio in the first half. The second half saw Odisha take control while Diego Mauricio took it on himself to win the game for the side. He scored the eqauliser following a confusion in the box during a corner and then set-up Victor Rodrigues for the winner!

86' GOAL! And that might as well do it for @OdishaFC 🙌

RED CARD! Hyderabad goalkeeper is shown direct red for taking down Diego Mauricio outside the box as the Odisha striker ran alone towards the goal for his second of the night. With no substitution left an outfield player will have to wear the gloves and midfielder Joao it is!
Hyderabad are keeping the possession but are unable to penetrate as Odisha have setup themselves well defensively for the closing minute. Diego Mauricio meanwhile is adjudged Hero of the Match for his relentless effort.
Odisha FC coach Clifford Miranada is shown yellow card after the referee had a discussion with the lines official. It seems a Hyderabad staff was shown yellow as well as the duo had an argument on the touchline.
The match officials adds seven minutes of injury time. Do Hyderabad have enough gas left in their tank to score the two goals?
Odisha lead! Victor Rodriguez taps in from close range on far post as Diego Mauricio sets him up following a darting run from the right flank! Hyderabad now need two goals in five minutes plus injury time.

ISAK! Exhuburence of youth there by the young winger as he ran down the left flank after being played free by Dene from midfield. The youngster skipped past two Hyderabad defenders before blasting a shot way off the target! Lack of composure there, nevertheless a talent worth watching out.
The three Odisha substitutes connect over one move as Isaak Ralte lays off Dene outside the box, who plays Aniket Jadhav free on the right flank. Jadhav's first-time cross, however, was deflected out for a corner.
A look at Siverio's missed free header as Odisha make a change. Saul Crespo comes in for Osman Malik.

Siverio! The Spanish striker is frustrated himself after missing a free header there as Chianese makes an immediate impact with a telling cross for his teammate. Hyderabad will be out if they keep missing those chances
Another change for Hyderabad as Australian attacking midfielder Joel Chianese comes in for Borja
A patient build-up leads to Akash Mishra firing in a cross that was cleared by Odisha defender for a corner!
The rhythm in the game has died down after the substitution. Hyderabad are reworking on it as they start building from the back.
Three changes by Odisha on the other half as Aniket Jadhav, Isak Ralte and Dene come in for Jerry, Nandhakumar and Sahil
Hyderabad FC make first chanage as Halicharan Narzary comes in for Sahil Tavora in midfield
Hyderabad look vulnerable during set pieces every time now as they are struggling to clear their lines. Odisha could feel that as they press harder to retain the ball and kept the pressure on. Odisha are getting under their skin!
YASIR ALMOST! What a run by the Hyderabad wide forward, who got into the box and kept himself free in a threatening position, he shot with a lot of venom to the far post but it was just an inch wide!
Not the prettiest of goal by Mauricio but it came after Odisha pressed Hyderabad in their own half and won back-to-back corners as the side in yellow finally succumbed to the pressure.
55' EQUALISER!🙌🟣

Diego Mauricio sneaks the ball into the goal after scurry inside the box following a corner! Odisha are back in the game and favourites to the semis!
Hyderabad left-back Akash Mishra is threatens down the flank with back-to-back crosses. His overlapping runs explain why national team coach Igor Stimac likes him the most among so many quality fullbacks in the country.
A calm second half so far as both the teams are locked in a midfield battle.
The second half gets underway and Odisha earn an indirect free-kick from 35 yards.
Hyderabad are missing a key forward in Barthlomew Ogbeche, who is out of the tournament with an injury and may return for the AFC Champions League play-off match against Mohun Bagan on May 3.
Another concern for Hyderabad is two of their defenders are on yellow cards in centre-back Chinglensana and Nikhil Poojary. Going down to 10 men is the last thing the sides want in a do-or-die encounter.

An entertaining first half with both sides finding chances to score goals. Hyderabad's target man Javier Siverio jumped the tallest to head in the opening goal and was threatening throughout the half to Odisha defence. Their Hyderabad counterparts were not having it easy either as Diego Mauricio kept them on their toes as he threatened to catch the side on the break. The game is certainly not over as Odisha need just a draw to seal the semis spot.
👊 A quality half of football and there's more to come!

The referee blows the half time whistle as Hyderabad head into the break with a well-deserved 1-0 lead.
Odisha winger Jerry ran down towards the goal on a threatening counter-attack but centre-back Chinglensana took one for the team by taking the diminutive figure down. Referee shows yellow card!
Tied on four points, Odisha and Hyderabad had a headache less in the game as East Bengal earlier on the day went out of the competition after drawing the group's bottom team Aizawl FC 2-2. The Kolkata Giants outdo themselves after a horrible Indian Super League season as they draw all three games despite taking lead at half time in all of them. The last two games also saw them squander a two-goal lead.
As far as Odisha are concerned, they are at an advantage as a draw for them against Hyderabad on the night will take them through to the semis. That's because they have a better goal difference (+3) in comparison to Hyderabad's +1.
Saying that, Odisha's job is easier said than done as they are up against a formidable side that was built by coach Manolo Marquez over two seasons and saw the comparatively new ISL side become champions in 2022 and a semi-final appearance in the 2023 season after finishing second on the table. Marquez, who will leave the side after this competition as he will take charge of FC Goa, refused to take Odisha lightly.
"I don't think so. The Super Cup and the ISL are two completely different competitions. Sreenidi (Deccan) beat Kerala Blasters, but drew with Bengaluru FC. East Bengal FC drew against teams that finished higher than them in the league table. So I have no doubt that Odisha will be tough opponents for us in this game," said the coach as per indiansuperleague.com
"We had just three days to prepare for this game so there is not much that changes. It is similar to the bubble when we have very little time for recovery and we have to be ready again."
