Bengaluru, Feb 20: I-League game week 10 ended with Aizawl FC beating East Bengal 1-0 at home to spice up the title race.

Laldanmawia scored the only goal for Khalid Jamil's side in the second half to seal crucial three points for the home team. Aizawl now have 20 points from 10 matches one less than leaders East Bengal and Mohun Bagan.

The game week started with another Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan taking on DSK Shivajians in Kolkata. Bagan defeated DSK 3-1 thanks to a brace from Balwant Singh. Bagan are now tied on points with arch-rivals East Bengal with a game in hand.

Minerva Punjab FC scalped the most exciting win of the game week as they defeated Churchill Brothers 5-4 in a 9-goal thriller.

Bengaluru FC once again failed to win as they were held to a goalless draw by rivals Mumbai FC at Mumbai. The defending champions are without a win in 6 consecutive matches.
