India have qualified for the Hockey Asian Champions Trophy 2024 with a fantastic track record in the group stages.
The Indian team registered five victories out of five matches and finished at the top of the points table. As the tournament enters towards the knockouts, the Men in Blue will be up for a potentially steeper challenge.

India started with a 3-0 win over China in their first match. In the second match, they registered a 5-1 win over Japan and then got an 8-1 victory over Malaysia. Against the Korea Republic, the men in Blue came away 3-1 victors, and concluded the group stage with a 2-1 win over arch-rivals Pakistan.
Overall, India have netted 21 goals so far and have conceded just 4 goals so far in the tournament.
India will be up against Korea Republic in the semis of the Hockey ACT 2024. After finishing first in the group stages, Harmanpreet Singh and co will lock horns against the Koreans as they finished 4th in the table.
India's semifinal match against Korea will be played on Monday (September 16) at the Moqi Training Base in Hulunbuir, China. The match is set to start tentatively around 3:30 pm IST.
India's match will be played immediately after the first semifinal between Pakistan and China.
India have a dominant record over Korea in Hockey. Out of 61 matches, team India have registered 38 victories, with 11 wins for Korea over the years. 12 matches have ended in a draw.
