India Khelo Football's ProSoccer Global Workshop returns in India

India Khelo Football (IKF), a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting Indian grassroots talent with the global football community, is delighted to announce the upcoming ProSoccer Global Workshop in four major cities across India.

Following the tremendous success of last year's workshop, which saw over 300 children participate and one lucky winner receive a full scholarship to train at the renowned Steven Gerrard Academy in Liverpool.

Mongtsu Tungoe from Wokha, Nagaland, was the standout performer last year, catching the eye of scouts and earning himself a fully-funded training opportunity at Steven Gerrard Academy. With previous experience playing for clubs like Sudeva FC and Guwahati City FC, Mongtsu's journey serves as an inspiration for other talented Indian footballers looking to make their mark on the world stage.

Building on this success story, IKF is proud to present the ProSoccer Global Workshop 2023 in collaboration with Premier League Academy scouts and agents. The workshop will be held in Mumbai (15 & 16 Sep), Pune (17 Sep), Bangalore (19 Sep), and New Delhi (23 & 24 Sep). Open to boys and girls aged between 2004-2012, this workshop offers participants an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and develop their skills under the guidance of experienced coaches.

This year's workshop promises even greater rewards and opportunities for young football talents. Select participants will have a chance to earn full scholarships at prestigious international academies such as IFAP & AAC, Betim, FC/Soccer Express, Sportsmate 360, Winning Soccer Skills/Academy Naranja, and Buckswood Academy.

Hitesh Joshi and Phani Bhushan, Founding Members of IKF expressed their immense pride in discovering hidden talent across India. They firmly believe that providing these talents with the right opportunities will create a talent pipeline that propels Indian football onto the global stage.

The ProSoccer Global Workshop serves as a fantastic platform for young talents to receive expert feedback and assessment, paving their way to success. Recognizing Mongtsu's potential beyond borders, Vector X (a sportswear brand in India) also signed him up for their "Vector X Athlete Program" before he embarked on his journey to the UK. This newly formed program aims to support budding football players, and Mongtsu is proud to be its first signed athlete.

The ProSoccer Global Workshop will equip participants with comprehensive technical assessment reports certifying their abilities as players. With a structured approach that includes age-specific training, position-specific drills, fitness assessments, tactical evaluations, and matches, this workshop ensures a holistic development experience for all participants.
