India meets Brazil in MWG soccer championship tomorrow

Hyderabad, Oct 9 (UNI) Hosts India will take on favourites Brazil while holders Egypt will face Ireland in the fourth Military World Games Football championships beginning here tomorrow.

Though the MWG was scheduled to begin on October 14, organisers had preponed the tournament to October 10, to keep up the schedule.

Earlier, the organisers had revised the schedule from 14 men teams to eleven, since three teams withdrew due to circumstances beyond their control. Six women teams, would however, remain in the fray.

This is the first time that an Indian team is playing in the championship. Brazil, considred the mecca of football is expected to enthral the spectators with their samba-style and artistic display.

The matches between holders Egypt and Ireland and Cameroon and North Korea were also expected to produce cracker of contests.

Schedule: Egypt Vs Ireland, Canada Vs Guinea, India Vs Brazil, Afghanistan Vs Qatar and Cameroon Vs DPR Korea.
