India coach Igor Stimac has named 28 players for the preliminary squad as the Blue Tigers play two crucial FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers in November.
The international break commences in the middle of November and the Indian team will kickstart their World Cup qualification AFC 2nd stage with two matches this month.

India will be away to play Kuwait on November 16, then subsequently host Qatar five days later on November 21. Despite winning the SAFF Championship and the Intercontinental Cup before that, Indian coach Igor Stimac knows the importance of doing well in these two matches.
The Blue Tigers will be hoping for a better outing against two tough opponents in Kuwait and Qatar. The Indian team will travel to Dubai for a preparatory camp before the qualifiers.
These qualifiers will also be determining the AFC Asian Cup 2027 participants, which is set to take place in Saudi Arabia.
