India U-19 Football team to leave for AFC U19 Qualification

New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) The Indian U-19 Football team will leave Mumbai tomorrow for the AFC Under 19 Qualification Competition to be held at Tehran, an All India Football Federation statement said here today.

The 23 member squad will be coached by Colin Joseph Toal.

India is placed in group B along with Bahrain, IR Iran, Lebanon, Oman and Pakistan.

The tournament will be held from November 6th to 17th.

The Team : Goalkeper: Laxmikant Kattimani, Shahin Lal Meloli, Jagroop Singh.

Defenders: Venkatesh Chetan Kumar,Raju Eknath Gaikwad, Nallappan Mohanraj, Rajiv Ghosh, Jagdeep Singh, Pradep Mohanraj, Amarwant Singh, Sushil Kisku, Saikat Saha Roy.

Midfielders: Minto Boro, Jewel Raja Shaikh, Hiralal Cherte, Malsawmkima Chhangte, Subodh Kumar, Khangembam Jibon Singh.

Forwards: Jagtar Singh,Khangembam Thoi Singh, Sathyan Sabeeth, Malsawmdawgliana, Lalpekhlua.

Officials : Colin Joseph Toal (Chief Coach), Thomas Joseph (Coach), Jude Tiofilo Barreto (Coach), Mridul Kanti Banerjee (Coach). Chandru Jayaraman (Physiotherapist), Jose Manuel Messias ( Manager ).
