India U-23 vs Malaysia U-23: The India U-23 football team lost their first of two friendlies against hosts Malaysia 1-2 at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium on Friday (March 22).

Saravanan Thirumurgan (33') and Muhamad Alif Zikri Bin Zaini Anuar (49') scored the decisive goals for the hosts within the first 50 minutes before Shivaldo Singh pulled one back for India in the 78th minute.

The match saw East Bengal goalkeeper Prabhsukhan Gill lead the side while his club mate PV Vishnu in the forward line, along with Isak Ralte and Siva Sakthi Narayanan. NorthEast United winger Parthib Gogoi featured from the bench late in the game, replacing Kerala Blasters' Mohammed Aimen, who started in the midfield with clubmate Vibin Mohanan.
