India vs Kuwait Tickets: Are There Anymore Tickets Left For Sunil Chhetri's Last Match?

India vs Kuwait Tickets: With the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup Qualifier match just days away, fans are still looking for ways to get their hands on a ticket or two for the match. However, they will be disappointed to know that all available tickets seem to have been sold out.

BookMyShow released the tickets for the match in three phases with the final phase - the phase-3 tickets being released on June 2 evening. It was the same day, online ticket holders got messages that they could redeem their tickets from the box offices at the stadium from that same day.

However, unfortunately, many who were expecting to buy some tickets offline from the box office have been disappointed as there have been no reports of additional tickets being sold offline. This has left many fans who were unable to secure tickets so far desperately seeking a way to witness Chhetri's farewell match in person.

The Indian Football Association has not announced any plans to release more tickets or open additional seating at the stadium. 60,000 tickets were reported to be released and going by the fans’ demand, it should be fullhouse on June 6.

The match, scheduled on the day at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, will mark the final international appearance for Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri. After a storied 20-year career, the 39-year-old captain announced his retirement from the national team earlier this month.

For the countless fans who missed out on tickets, the only option will be to tune in to the live broadcast and watch Chhetri's final match from home. While it will not be the same as being there in person to support the beloved skipper, it will be a chance for the nation to come together and celebrate Chhetri's legacy.

Additionally, the match is also a crucial one for the Blue Tigers’ World Cup qualifier campaign. India currently sits second in their group, tied on points with Afghanistan, and a win against Kuwait would secure their progression to the third round of qualifiers.
