India vs Uzbekistan Women's Football Match Live Score, AFC Olympics Qualifiers: IND 0-3 UZB at Full Time!

The referee blows the full time whistle as India end their campaign in the AFC Women's Olympic Qualifiers 2024 with three consecutive defeat. Starting the Round 2 as massive underdogs, India were never really considered to go beyond the stage but conceding 13 goals and scoring just one surely hurts! It's India 0-3 Uzbekistan at Full Time
90+4' A rare attack by India in the closing minutes as Ranjana Chanu finds space on the left wing and tries to cut in but couldn't beat her marker as the initiative in attack is lost
90+1' Eight minutes of stoppage time added. Indian forwards may hope to squeeze in a late goal to have something positive to talk about from the game. At the moment, they don't look like scoring one
89' Yet another disappointing performance by the Indian team, who had a porous defense and frustratingly lacked quality in the attack time and again. All three of their opponents have shown that Indians have some catch up to do before they pose a threat at the Asian stage to them.
85' Couple of changes by Uzbekistan, including their goalkeeper Onimqulova Maftuna, who hurt herself while saving a corner earlier. She is replaced by Gulomova Kumushoy
Karachik Lyudmila makes it 3-0! Poor goalkeeping by substitute Sowmiya Narayanswamy, who concedes on the near post. The goal comes on the counter as Diyorakhon plays a nice one-two with the skipper, who shot from outside the box.
80' Ranjan Chanu delivers the corner from the right of the box but too close to the near post. The Uzbek goalkeeper punches it out for another corner.
78' Finally an attack by India but the final effort disappoints again as Ranjana Chanu runs on the right wing and sends an early cross for Soumya Guguloth on the left wing, who controls the ball and shoots but the effort lacked the power and was off target as well. Meanwhile India win a corner IND 0-2 UZB
77' Shreya Hooda is unable to continue anymore, seems like a concussion substitution. She is replaced by Sowmiya Narayanswamy.
73' Defender Ranjana Chanu comes in for winger Manisha Kalyan. Interesting move by Dennerby with India leading. Remains to be seen if Ranjana will play in a defensive role or replace Manisha on the left wing IND 0-2 UZB
68' The match resumes as Shreya Hooda continues after getting a bandage on her head. Probably no concussion as the referee allows her to continue
64' Ablyakimova Ilvina shoots from 30-odd yards from the goal, her effort awkwardly bounces in front of Shreya, who fails to collect it but the deflection off her hits the post before she has to dive and collect it with an Uzbek forward approaching. Asadova Dilrabo ends up hurting Shreya and subsequently sees a yellow card. The game is halted for the time being as the Indian goalkeeper is being treated.IND 0-2 UZB
61' Coach Thomas Dennerby shuffles the line-up as he sends in Soumiya Ranganathan and Soumya Guguloth for Bala Devi and Anju Tamang. Hopefully Soumiya will find the net like she did in the last game
58' Uzbekistan have taken charge of the game as they are threatening to get inside the box every time while Indian counter-attacks have died down since the second goal. IND 0-2 UZB
50' India go down by another goal as Uzbek captain Karachik Lyudmila scores from inside the box following a frantic counter attack. India showed intent early in the second half as Manish Kalyan's effort from tight angle landed on the crossbar before going out of play. But any momentum gained was gone with that second goal by Uzbekistan. IND 0-2 UZB
India fail to capitalise on the set piece and the rest of the minutes goes without any meaningful action. It's India 0-1 Uzbekistan at Half Time as Nilufar Kudratova game the hosts the lead as early as the second minute.
45+1' Two added minutes and India may have a chance to score from an indirect freekick. Did so in the last game against Vietnam
43' Sweety Devi makes a poor back pass to Shreya Hooda under challenge. Upon realising the ball would never reach the goalkeeper, she quickly ran to clear the ball away from the box in a good recovery. Uzbeks could have scored another right before half time. IND 0-1 UZB
39' Close call for offside by the lineswoman on Manisha, who was played free into the box by Bala Devi following a counter-attack started by Shilky Devi in the midfield. Somebody as skillful as Manisha could have forced the goalkeeper into action from that position if wasn't caught offside. IND 0-1 UZB
37' A lean phase in the game when none of the teams are able to create. Uzbekistan continue to see most of the possession but Indian backline are not struggling that much to contain their movement.
31' SAVE OF THE MATCH BY SHREYA HOODA! A training-ground set piece move by Uzbekistan from a corner found Nilufar Kudratova with the ball all alone and she shoots it the first time! Hooda, however, made a brilliant reflex save to keep India in the game. At least for the time being. IND 0-1 UZB
29' The play is halted after Bala Devi elbowed rival Bobokhujaeva Feruza during an aerial duel. Feruza has been marking the most experienced Indian attacking midfielder since kick-off! IND 0-1 UZB
25' Unlike the previous two games, India are not that far from Uzbekistan in terms of skill and pace and are able to see more of possession while the likes of Anju Tamang and Bala Devi are expressing themselves better with more ball time but the passing in attacking third is still unsatisfactory!
23' Uzbekistan catch India on the break as their left winger made an inside run to the box but Shilky Devi kept at it and made a crucial interception before the Uzbek could pull the trigger!
18' Grace Dangmei is down inside the Uzbekistan box following a rare attack by India. A counter-attack saw Bala Devi receive the ball 35 yards from the box and she lobs it into the box with Anju and Grace waiting. Grace gets the ball first but is under challenge and is injured following the aerial duel. Seems nothing serious, should be back on her feet again.
14' The Indian goalkeeper is forced into a double save and the first one was crucial as Nilufar Kudratova made the most of the error committed by Astam Oraon, who failed to clear a through ball from the midfield. Nilufar ran clear to the goal to score and shot on target as well but the effort was saved. IND 0-1 UZB
10' Nilufar Kudratova gave early lead to Uzbekistan as the Indian defense continued to struggle in Tashkent. They conceded an early goal in the Vietnam match as well and were chasing the game for the rest of the 90 minutes. At the moment, Uzbekistan are keeping the bulk of possession. IND 0-1 UZB

Hello and welcome to the Live coverage of India vs Uzbekistan. The match is already underway. We will take you to Live action straightaway, until then take a look at the line-ups!
Thomas Dennerby and his side have used a defensive formation of 5 defenders at the back but have been given a harsh reality by their higher-ranked opponents, who have been too fast and skillful. Indian players did have a preparatory camp in Saudi Arabia but lack of game time overall has been a concern.
Prior to the qualifiers, the women's team lost all their matches in the Asian Games 2023 and were expected too weak for Japan's football team, who scored six goals in the second half after Indian defense managed to hold them to a 1-0 goal difference in the first half. The match starts at 5:30 PM IST and will be streaming Live on the Uzbekistan football team's official YouTube and Facebook pages.
