Mumbai, July 10: Indian captain Sunil Chhetri attracted the highest price in the first-ever player auction of the Indian Super League (ISL) today.
Chhetri, who did not feature in the inaugural ISL last year, was bought by Mumbai City FC for Rs 1.2 crore. The only other player to join the Rs 1 crore club was midfielder Eugeneson Lyngdoh, who went to FC Pune City. All 10 players who were in the auction were bought.
