Inter Milan's assistant coach, Massimiliano Farris, has called on the team to channel their disappointment from finishing second in Serie A into achieving success in Europe. Despite a 2-0 victory against Como with a rotated squad, Inter fell short of retaining their title as Napoli clinched the championship by defeating Cagliari 2-0. Inter now shifts focus to the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain on May 31.

Farris, speaking for suspended head coach Simone Inzaghi, emphasised the need for players to quickly move past their league setback. "The mood is that of a team that has done its duty," he stated. "It's a shame because it's been a long journey, and we've had to let the title slip away." He acknowledged Napoli's strength and extended congratulations to them while highlighting football's nature of offering new opportunities.
