Inter Milan are all set to participate in the first-ever 32-team edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025.
The Italian giants secured their berth in the tournament by ranking as UEFA's fourth-best eligible club over a four-year coefficient period. This expanded format brings a fresh look to the competition, now resembling the structure of the FIFA World Cup, with teams playing in group stages followed by intense knockout rounds.

Drawn into Group E, Inter will lock horns with clubs representing Asia, North America, and South America, offering fans an exciting mix of continental clashes. The Nerazzurri's consistent performances in Europe and a solid ongoing UEFA Champions League run have added to the growing anticipation around their campaign.
Armed with a deep squad full of European talent and plenty of experience on the big stage, Inter Milan are widely considered one of the favourites to go all the way. Their blend of tactical discipline, attacking firepower, and seasoned leadership positions them as serious contenders to claim global supremacy in what promises to be a historic tournament.
Inter are pitted in Group E of the Club World Cup 2025 along with River Plate, Urawa Red Diamonds and Monterrey.
River Plate (Argentina): A dominant force in South American and Argentine football, River will be entering the competition for the third time as the best-ranked eligible team in the CONMEBOL four-year ranking.
Urawa Red Diamonds (Japan): The 2022 AFC Champions League winners, known as one of the biggest forces in Asian football will be competing for the fourth time in this competition.
Monterrey (Mexico): Mexican heavyweights Monterrey are getting entry into the competition by virtue of being 2021 CONCACAF Champions League winners and will be competing in this tournament for the sixth time.
