Inter Milan has successfully secured the signing of Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma, beating Stuttgart to the deal. The 21-year-old forward is reuniting with his former manager, Cristian Chivu, at Inter. Bonny had an impressive season at Parma in 2024-25, especially during the last three months when Chivu was in charge.
During his time at Parma, Bonny scored six goals and provided four assists. His contributions were crucial as Parma managed to avoid relegation on the final day of the season. Chivu took over as manager in February when Parma was struggling in the relegation zone. Under his guidance, the team improved significantly.

Chivu recently replaced Simone Inzaghi as Inter's head coach after Inzaghi left for Al-Hilal. One of Chivu's first moves was to bring Bonny to Inter. Despite Stuttgart's interest in the French Under-21 international, Inter secured his transfer for an estimated fee of €25 million.
Bonny expressed his enthusiasm about rejoining Chivu at Inter. He told Inter TV: "Chivu gave me a lot in my last three months at Parma. He's a great person who has helped me and shown faith in me." Bonny is eager to continue developing under Chivu's leadership and aims to improve on his previous performances.
Inter Milan, who finished as runners-up in the Champions League, faced a setback with a last-16 exit against Fluminense at the Club World Cup. They are set to begin their 2024-25 Serie A season with an away match against Torino on August 25.
Bonny is motivated to learn from his new teammates at Inter and is determined to enhance his skills further. He stated, "I'm hungry and have a lot of desire to improve on last season so that I can keep developing." His ambition aligns with Inter's goals as they aim for success in both domestic and international competitions this season.
