The Real Madrid forward has not scored too many goals in 2017. In fact, he has struggled in front of the post like never before, but Ronaldo won the Ballon'd'Or and FIFA Best Male Player of the Year awards. Along with the Champions League and La Liga, he also won the Club World Cup with Real Madrid. This year was also difficult for him as he was charged with evading taxes in Spain, something that prompted him to consider leaving Real Madrid. He stayed, however, and also made the much-discussed statement recently: "I am the best", a la Muhammad Ali.
