Ireland vs France Live stream in India: Euro Qualifiers Live telecast, TV channel

By MyKhel Staff

Ireland vs France Live stream: France will travel over 1000km to Northeastern Europe to face Ireland in their second Group B game on Monday night. The 2022 World Cup runners-up are high on confidence as they galloped over the Netherlands 4-0 in the first group game last week with Kylian Mbappe starting his captaincy career with the national team.

The match played in the North of Paris saw Mbappe score a brace after Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring in the second minute of the game. Centre-back Dayot Upamecano also had the luxury to score a goal in the game. Italy-born Nice midfielder Kephren Thuram also made his international debut in the game as he came on as a substitute.

Ireland, on the other hand, are beginning their campaign in the Euro Qualifiers after playing a friendly against Latvia four days ago. The Stephen Kenny-managed nation conceded a 2-0 lead before winning the game 3-2 with Chiedozie Ogbene scoring the winner in the second half. Callum O'Dawda and Evan Ferguson scored earlier in the first half.

Ireland will like to prove a point at the Euro Qualifiers this time around after the side failed to qualify for the last event following consecutive qualifications for Euro 2012 and 2016. They also historically reached the round of 16 at Euro 2016. However, the presence of Netherlands, Greece, and Gibraltar as other teams in the group fighting for the top two spots means the job is easier said than done.

Ireland have a weak record against France since their 1982 World Cup qualifiers' famous 3-2 win as they haven't defeated the two-time European champions in their last seven meetings since then. Ireland also never defeated France in the qualifiers with the latter winning one and drawing another in the previous two encounters.

Ireland vs France injury update

Ireland are likely to be without their captain Seamaus Coleman, who has been recovering from a thigh injury and missed out on the last friendly as well. Last-match goal scorer Callum O'Dowda is uncertain for the game as well while midfielders Josh Cullen and Jason Knight are expected to return for the game after missing the Latvia match.

France are missing the services of Williams Saliba and Wesley Fofana due to injuries while coach Didier Deschamps named their replacements as well in Axel Disasi and Jean-Clair Todibo. The duo, however, played no role in the last game.
