Chennaiyin FC has unveiled its roster for the 2023-24 Indian Super League season, consisting of 29 players who bring a combination of seasoned experience and promising young talent.

This underscores Chennaiyin's commitment to nurturing and developing young Indian players, contributing to the growth of Indian football.

Head coach Owen Coyle highlighted Chennaiyin's unique approach, focusing on investing in young talent rather than extravagant spending. He emphasized his reputation for providing opportunities to young players and continuing to develop Indian talent. The team's blend of players reflects this philosophy.

To lead the squad, Chennaiyin has selected a six-member leadership group responsible for driving the team forward. The captain's role will be shared among Jordan Murray, Ryan Edwards, Aakash Sangwan, Lazar Cirkovic, Rafael Crivellaro, and Rahim Ali.

The two-time champions will commence their ISL 2023-24 campaign with two away matches: one against Odisha FC today and another against NorthEast United FC on September 29. They will then return home to host Mohun Bagan Super Giant FC on October 7 in their third match of the season.
