ISL 2023-24: ISL Final Venue Confirmed as Mohun Bagan beat Odisha FC

The ISL 2023-24 playoff Final venue has been confirmed after Mohun Bagan beat Odisha FC to reach the Final.

The Indian Super League had previously announced three tentative venues for the Final. Kolkata, Mumbai and Goa were marked as potential destinations for the Final this season.

But Mohun Bagan's win over Odisha FC in the semifinal has now confirmed the place of the Final. The Mariners registered a 2-0 victory in the second leg of the semifinal in Kolkata on Sunday, thus winning 3-2 on aggregate. Sahal Abdul Samad scored an injury-time goal to break the Kalinga Warriors' hearts.

ISL 2023-24: ISL Final to be held in Kolkata

With Mohun Bagan's victory, the ISL Final venue has been stamped to be the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Stadium in Kolkata.

The iconic stadium will host the Final of the ISL this season as Mohun Bagan finished at the top of the league and won the ISL Shield. The Kolkata ground has been a lucky venue for the Mariners this season, as they won the ISL Shield and earlier also won the Durand Cup.

The ISL 2023-24 Final will be played on May 4 and the Super Giants will take on either of FC Goa or Mumbai City FC.
