The Indian Super League (ISL) is gearing up for an intense finale, with the 2023-24 season's climax scheduled for May 04. Before the ultimate showdown, the playoffs are set to commence on April 19, marking the beginning of the battle for the coveted title. This announcement came from Mumbai on April 11, setting the stage for a riveting end to the season.

The six teams who have qualified for playoffs are - Mumbai City FC, Mohun Bagan, Odisha FC, FC Goa, Kerala Blasters and FC Goa.
The ISL's structure for the season finale sees the top two teams at the league's conclusion will advance directly to the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, teams placed third to sixth will face off in a single-leg playoff. The 3rd placed team will play the 6th placed, while the 4th and 5th positioned teams will lock horns against each other.
These knockout matches are designed to determine the remaining two contenders for the semi-final spots, ensuring a competitive pathway to the final. The team finishing on top of the table with play the winner of Playoff 1 in the semifinal, whereas the 2nd-placed team will take on the Playoff 2 winners.
Playoff 1 - FC Goa vs Chennaiyin FC (April 19) - Fatorda Stadium
Playoff 2 - Odisha FC vs Kerala Blasters (April 20) - Kalinga Stadium
