Bengaluru refused to back down and continued to push forward. In the 88th minute, Edgar Méndez reduced the deficit once again with a well-placed header off a pinpoint cross from Roshan Singh. Despite their late surge, Odisha's defense, marshaled by goalkeeper Amrinder Singh, stood tall. Amrinder's crucial saves in the dying moments secured a well-earned victory for the home side.

With this victory, Odisha FC climb to third place in the ISL standings, amassing 15 points from 10 matches. The Kalinga Warriors showcased their attacking depth, with standout performances from Diego Mauricio, Jerry Mawihmingthanga, and Ahmed Jahouh.
