Hello and Welcome to our live coverage of the ISL semi-final match 2nd leg between FC Goa and Bengaluru FC!
Bengaluru FC come into the fixture with strong momentum, having won their last two playoff matches without conceding a single goal. However, the Blues have struggled on their recent visits to Goa, losing both times - including a goalless draw in their latest outing. Should they fail to score once again, FC Goa will become only the third team in ISL history to deny Bengaluru FC a goal in consecutive away fixtures.
In terms of head-to-head, the two sides have clashed 18 times in the ISL. Bengaluru FC hold the edge with eight wins to FC Goa's five, while five encounters have ended in stalemates.
Bengaluru's backline has been in stellar form, with Rahul Bheke leading the charge. The veteran defender has made 116 clearances this season - the highest by any Indian player and second overall. His 16 clearances in the first leg not only set a season record but also became the most by any Bengaluru FC player in a single ISL match.
In goal, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu continues to be a rock for the Blues, having secured his eighth clean sheet of the campaign in the first leg. Only Mohun Bagan SG's Vishal Kaith (14) has more clean sheets this season.
FC Goa, however, have a few bright sparks of their own. Brison Fernandes has emerged as a crucial attacking threat, with seven goals and two assists to his name. Notably, three of those goals have come from outside the box - equalling Noah Sadaoui's record for most long-range goals by a Goa player in a single season.
As the Gaurs look to overturn the deficit, fans can expect a high-intensity clash under the Fatorda lights.
