At the same time, Sony Sports Network will serve as the exclusive television broadcast partner for the ISL in India. Fans will also be able to watch all 163 matches through Sony LIV, giving the league a presence across television, mobile and connected-TV platforms.

YouTube has been named the ISL's digital streaming partner, with all 163 matches set to be available live and free on the platform. The move removes a subscription barrier for fans looking to watch the league online and places YouTube at the centre of the ISL's digital strategy.

The expanded distribution is aimed at making the ISL more accessible to fans across India and the wider sub-continent. The league believes the combination of free digital access and television coverage will help it reach audiences across a broader range of viewing platforms.

Karan Yadav, CEO of the Indian Super League, highlighted the importance of reaching supporters through the platforms they increasingly use to consume football.

"We want the ISL to be the most accessible league in the country, and that means being present across the platforms where fans are choosing to watch and follow football. YouTube significantly expands our digital and connected-TV reach, while Sony Sports Network brings the scale, reach and expertise of a leading sports broadcaster to the League, providing fans with a premium live broadcast experience."

The digital partnership will extend beyond live matches. YouTube will also host match highlights, Shorts, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, analysis and fan-led conversations, allowing supporters to engage with the competition throughout the season.

The ISL has also pointed to the rapid growth of connected-TV viewing in India as an important factor behind the expanded digital strategy. With football audiences increasingly consuming content across multiple screens, the league's new arrangement is designed to provide greater flexibility in how fans watch and follow the competition.

The 2026-27 ISL season is set to begin on October 10, with the new broadcast and streaming setup giving fans more options to follow the action from the opening match onwards.
