Punjab kept pressing high and managed space well. Pramveer and Bijoy V. read play smartly and stopped counters. The third goal arrived on 72 minutes. Substitute Leon Augustine drove from the left and slipped in Osuji. The forward turned and fired into the top corner.

Punjab controlled the final stages with steady passing and shape. Inter Kashi relied on long balls, which the hosts cleared. Vinit Rai hit the woodwork in stoppage time. Ranjeet Singh Pandre was then stopped by a key block. Punjab closed out a clear 3-0 victory.
