Goa, December 9: Ferran Corominas scored the fastest hat-trick in the Indian Super League (ISL) yet as FC Goa trounced Kerala Blasters 5-2 at Fatorda on Saturday (December 9).

Corominas nullified a neck to neck first half in which Kerala and Goa were locked 2-2 with strikes in the 48th, 51st and 55th minutes to kill the game.

Blasters are winless this season while Goa leaped to second in the table behind Bengaluru FC on goal difference. Chennaiyin FC too have nine points and they are on third on goal difference.

In fact, it was Blasters who went ahead with a strike in the seventh minute through Mark Sifneos. But the local lads found the equaliser when Manuel Lanzarote disturbed the net two minutes later.

Lanzarote found his second goal in the 18th minute put Goa ahead but Jackichand Singh negated the advantage in the 31st minute for Blasters.

The teams went for break on 2-2 and on equal footing to get a favourable result. Until Corominas worked his magic.
