Jamshedpur FC fought back for a 1-1 draw against Bengaluru FC in their latest ISL 2023-24 home match at the JRD Tata Complex in Jamshedpur on Sunday (February 11). Bengaluru FC and Jamshedpur FC remain seventh and eighth respectively.
Suresh Singh Wangjam gave the lead to Bengaluru FC early in the game (14th minute) but Jamshedpur FC's new striker Javi Siverio (70') scored in the second half to bring the two sides on level terms.

This was the first goal by Siverio in the ISL 2023-24 season after a goalless show for former club East Bengal. The Blues couldn't have started the season any better as they looked to defeat the Red Miners for the sixth time in a row in the league.
After earning a spot in the starting lineup, Chingambam Shivaldo Singh shown his dedication on the right wing by delivering a powerful delivery that Sivasakthi Narayanan glanced onto Sunil Chhetri's path inside the box.
Sivasakthi and Chhetri were positioned a few yards apart, parallel to each other, and away from TP Rehenesh, the goalie for Jamshedpur FC. Chhetri, however, chose not to take the responsibility of attempting a shot at goal because he was at a very sharp angle to it.
He instead laid up the ball for the onrushing Suresh, who showed sharp instincts to deposit the ball in the top corner of the net and immersing in a jubilant celebration with the captain.
However, Jamshedpur FC refused to let the goal defeat them. Their explosive front line persisted in applying pressure to the Bengaluru FC defense, putting themselves in perilous positions inside the box to try their luck against Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.
Before the half, Rei Tachikawa came agonizingly close to leveling the score when Elsinho mishandled his shot and the Japanese player pounced, hitting the crossbar with his shot.
But it was Siverio who brought them to their knees. After the Blues cleared Jeremy Manzorro's corner kick in the 70th minute, Imran Khan was able to get the ball in the inside channel on the right flank.
After scoring once in each of the previous two games, the attacker made sure he left an impression on Sunday. With perfect accuracy, the midfielder headed his curling cross inside the net when he swung in, denying Sandhu the opportunity to rescue the blushes this time.
