ISL Match Result: Chennaiyin FC defeated Bengaluru FC 2-0 at their home ground Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Marina Arena, during their latest Indian Super League 2023-24 fixture in Chennai on Wednesday (December 13).
Brazilian Rafael Crivellaro (6') and Australian Jordan Murray scored the two goals from the spot while the former was the star playmaker of the match as he was behind most of the moves that Chennaiyin FC created on the day.

Bengaluru FC, who had Renedy Singh on the touchline as the interim head coach after parting ways with Simon Grayson last week, looked as helpless as they looked last week as change at the top didn't change their fortune.
In the sixth minute, Crivellaro stepped up to take the penalty kick after Namgyl Bhutia handled the ball within the 18-yard area. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu had little chance of stopping the ball from going into the top left corner after the attacking midfielder smashed it there.
After that, though, Sandhu put on a display, making a number of saves, three of which were crucial in preventing Crivellaro, Jordan Murray, and Vincy Barretto from scoring any more goals in the first half. The goalie made a diving save to block Crivellaro's attempt in the eleventh minute, then he repeated the heroics to save shots from Murray and Barretto in the thirty and thirty-seventh minutes, respectively.
Murray and Crivellaro were playing brilliantly together; the latter set up Murray's shot that almost increased the lead. The two did respond in the 50th minute, but Gurpreet was unable to save the day for the visitors as Murray had an opportunity to increase his goal total by scoring from the 12-yard box.
With some deft footwork, Crivellaro made his way through the middle of the Bengaluru FC penalty box and earned a foul against Harsh Patre. This time, he let Murray take the lead. Murray took advantage of the situation, winning the match and giving Coyle's team those vital three points.
