ISL Match Result: Mohun Bagan Super Giant rallied to a 4-2 victory over NorthEast United FC at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Saturday (February 17). Four different players found the net for Bagan while Joni Kauko assisted three of them.
Liston Colaco (45+1') and Jason Cummings (45+3') scored injury-time goals to put Mohun Bagan in the lead after NorthEast United dominated most of the first half. Tomi Juric and MS Jithin troubled the hosts' defense while the Australian (6' and 50') fired both the goals.

The ease with which Juric converted a spot-kick in the sixth minute to give his team an unexpected lead demonstrated his sharpshooting ability. He later scored in the second half again after beating Dippendu Biswas inside the box using his physicality as Nestor Albiach set him up for the goal.
The pair performed admirably together in their 3-2 victory over East Bengal FC, and they continued to do so in this important road game. Nevertheless, the host team's unquestionably superior attacking prowess outweighed the Highlanders' intermittent dynamic.
Prior to the game, Benali had acknowledged that his players needed to play shrewdly, avoid getting ahead of themselves, and use caution at crucial moments. That unfortunately went for a toss a number of times.
To start, in the 45th minute, Liston Colaco scored the equalizer by shooting from outside the box after Joni Kauko placed a delivery past the wide spaces in the opposition's backline.
After only four minutes of extra time, Dimitrios Petratos' set piece was followed by a Mariners squad that outnumbered the Highlanders inside the box. Once again, Kauko was there at the perfect moment to head a pass into the path of Jason Cummings, who converted it with ease.
The best of Mohun Bagan emerged in the second half, with Petratos converting from creator to goal scorer for the third shortly after Juric's equaliser. At the center of it all was Cummings, who displayed a masterful connection with his striking counterpart in the defensive region of North East United.
With his team's third goal in the 53rd minute, Petratos proved he wasn't going to let an opportunity like that pass him by.
In the 57th minute, Sahal Abdul Samad scored the game's winning goal after intercepting a through pass from Kauko and beating Mirshad Michu. Kauko exploited a disorganized NorthEast defense, and the home team's forwards were simply too strong to pass up those chances.
