ISL Match Result: Odisha FC saw off early pressure from Hyderabad FC to win 3-0 in front of home fans at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Sunday (December 17). Roy Krishna scored a brace on the night while Mortada Fall headed another in.
The win took Odisha FC fourth in the table with 17 points from 9 games while Hyderabad FC remain dead last with four points in 10 games. The result stretched Odisha FC's unbeaten run to eight games in all competitions.

Roy Krishna posed a threat to the Hyderabad FC defense from the start, taking shots from both wings, but the opposing defense stood strong to stop such attempts early on. Numerous former stars that Sergio Lobera brought to Odisha FC have reaped the benefits, as evidenced by how quickly they became part of the team.
Among them is right-back Amey Ranawade, who played a crucial role in Lobera's championship-winning squad at Mumbai City FC in 2020-21. In the thirty-fifth minute, he provided a cross for Krishna, who scored the goal. Ranawade has picked up his second assist of the season.
Recently, Odisha FC has also been deadly from set pieces, and Fall's presence has allowed them to take advantage of tremendous possibilities inside the box. Carlos Delgado set up a pass through his head for his defending teammate five minutes after Krishna's goal, and Fall was on target as he slotted the ball inside the net to score his 21st ISL goal.
The Juggernauts maintained control of the encounter from that point on, making sure they were in the driver's seat. Equally involved in creating chances for his teammates, Jerry Mawihmingthanga wasted one in the 65th minute with a shot from the left side of the box.
In the second half, Jonathan Moya and Joe Knowles both had good opportunities to cut the lead, but Delgado and Fall were in a good position to prevent the visitors from taking advantage of those opportunities.
A very professional and even flawless game for Lobera & Co. was finally brought to an end by Krishna late in the second half, in the fifth minute of added time, when he entered the game with his left foot and shot the ball past Gurmeet Singh from a fairly tight angle.
