ISL Transfer News: Mohammedan Sporting sign Brazilian forward Franca, in talks with Fahad Temuri

Mohammedan Sporting Club was promoted to the Indian Super League after their I-League triumph last season, and the Kolkata club has already started to plan the team for top-tier football next season.

Mohammedan, who are in extensive talks to rope in new players, are in talks with Fahad Temuri, while a Brazilian forward has already joined the club.

Mohammedan likely to sign Fahad Temuri

MyKhel can confirm that the Kolkata-based club is eyeing to rope in Fahad Temuri, a forward who played for I-League club Delhi FC last season. The 19-year-old is an exciting prodigy who plays mainly as a left winger. He played 19 matches for Delhi last season in the I- and scored 3 goals for them in the I-League 2.

Although Temuri is yet to reach at the highest level, Mohammedan are interested to bring him at the club. His pace, skills and finishing ability make him an exciting prospect and Mohammedan have had talks with him about joining the club.

Mohammedan sign Brazilian Franca

Mohameddan have also roped in a Brazilian winger Franca. The 29-year-old has been signed from Bulgarian club Lokomotiv Sofia. Franca's contract at the Bulgarian club ends in June and he will join the Black and Whites in July. The official announcement is expected to arrive in the coming weeks.

Mohammedan have also extended the contract of Alexis Gomez. The Argentine was instrumental in their I-League win last season and is expected to play a key part in the ISL in the upcoming season.
