Ismael Saibari Backed By Bilal El Khounnouss To Seal Bayern Transfer
Ismael Saibari is at the centre of transfer talk linking the PSV forward with Bayern Munich, after a standout season in the Netherlands and a statement World Cup goal for Morocco against Brazil in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Reports in Germany indicate Bayern Munich are exploring a summer move for Ismael Saibari, with suggestions a verbal agreement may already be in place. The Bundesliga club are monitoring the 23-year-old closely as recruitment plans for next season develop.

Since joining PSV's academy in 2020, Ismael Saibari has grown into a key figure for the Eindhoven side. Saibari made a first-team debut in November 2020 and has accumulated 142 appearances in all competitions across domestic league, cup and European fixtures.
Ismael Saibari has been central to PSV's recent dominance in Dutch football, helping secure the Eredivisie title in each of the past three campaigns. During that period, Saibari also lifted the KNVB Cup twice, underlining a consistent impact in major domestic competitions.
Across those seasons, Ismael Saibari scored 42 goals for PSV, including 19 last season, which stood as the joint-highest total in the squad. Saibari also produced nine assists, giving 28 goal contributions overall, the best combined figure among team-mates.
Morocco team-mate Bilal El Khannouss, who plays for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, believes Ismael Saibari has earned such interest. "To be honest, I don't interfere in other people's careers," he told Sky Sport Germany, when asked about the Bayern Munich rumours.
El Khannouss then stressed the personal respect between the pair. "He's a very close friend of mine, but I don't meddle in such private matters. I don't know if it's true or not. I hope so for his sake because he really deserves it."
Asked whether Ismael Saibari could handle Bundesliga level, Bilal El Khannouss offered a clear response. "Of course [Saibari is capable of playing for Germany]! He's an incredible player. And I wish him the best of luck in playing for a big team. I hope it happens."
The Bayern Munich conversation has intensified after Ismael Saibari's World Cup debut, where Saibari scored a precise chip from outside the penalty area for Morocco against Brazil. That goal, in a 1-1 draw, added further evidence for clubs assessing Saibari's readiness for a major move.
