Italy vs England Live stream: Defending champions Italy will host England in their opening match of the Euro Qualifiers for the Euro 2024 in Naples on Thursday night. The football heavyweights are placed in Group C.

It will be a rematch of the Euro 2020 final when Italy defeated England on penalties at London's iconic Wembley Stadium back in July 2021 for their second continental title. Since then Italy's performance went downhill as they failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2022

Missing out on World Cup action, Italy last played international football back in November, when they defeated Albania and Austria in FIFA friendlies.
England, on the other hand, made a quarter-final exit at the World Cup, which was also their last appearance on the international stage.

Gareth Southgate, who retained his job as England coach, will have a chance to win his 50th club as England manager, making him only the third England coach to do so. However, doing so won't be easy as they haven't defeated the Roberto Mancini-coached side in the last six encounters.

Italy vs England injury update

Striker Marcus Rashford, goalkeeper Nick Pope and midfielder Mason Mount are out with injuries. Fraser Forster came in as a replacement for Pope.

Raheem Sterling, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Ben White are also among the notable absentees from the squad.

For Italy, winger Federico Chiesa and left-back Federico Dimarco are on the injury list. Emerson Palmieri and Marco Carnesecchi replaced them in the squad. Striker Mateo Retegui may make his debut with Ciro Immobile and Giacomo Raspadori not part of the squad.
