Jack Wilshere ready to listen to Arsenal's final offer

Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan are both interested in Wilshere, while Everton and West Ham are prepared to pay him more than his current £120,000-a-week salary that he gets at Arsenal right now.

Bengaluru, March 21: Jack Wilshere will give Arsenal a chance to offer him the deal he wants to stay at the club. The England international midfielder could even go to the World Cup finals in Russia with his future still up in the air.

The 26-year-old was told he must take a 25 per cent pay cut to stay at the Emirates beyond this season. He had rejected that suggestion out of hand and told Arsenal he will leave as a free agent if they do not up their offer.

Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan are both interested in Wilshere, while Everton and West Ham are prepared to pay him more than his current £120,000-a-week salary that he gets at Arsenal right now.

Liverpool are also linked with the midfield maestro with Jurgen Klopp also eyeing a midfield bolstering. However, Wilshere wants to stay at Arsenal, who he joined aged nine.

And he is hoping his recent displays will convince manager Arsene Wenger to intervene into his contract talks.

Wenger knows losing an England international at the peak of his career for nothing does not make any economic sense, especially as it will cost Arsenal at least £30million to sign a replacement.

The player himself wants to stay at Arsenal and it makes no sense to let him leave for free.

But Wenger has hardly been involved in the negotiations, leaving them to legal expert Huss Fahmy who has not shown any inclination to improve the contract on offer, which would mean Wilshere earning just one fourth of the wages now being paid to Mesut Ozil.

Arsenal have a pretty deep midfield right now with Wilshere, Ramsey, Xhaka, Elneny and Cazorla in their books.

However, both Ramsey and Wilshere are facing an uncertain future with their contract talks in their air.

Meanwhile, Cazorla has struggled with injuries and Elneny and Xhaka have not done enough to convince that they are in Arsenal's future plans.
