The 10th season of Indian Super League is set to start from September 19 and it promises to be an enthralling few months in Indian football.

Jamshedpur FC will be hoping to have a better outing this time around after a dismal last season. The Red Miners, who were established in 2017, finished 10th last season, having previously won the ISL shield in 2021-22.

They will be hoping for a much more inspiring season under the guidance of new coach Steve Cooper. They kickstart their campaign against East Bengal on September 5, while their first home match is against Hyderabad FC.

Jamshedpur have made a few decent signings this season as the likes of Petar Sliskovic (from Chennaiyin FC), Alen Stevanovic (from IMT Belgrad) have been roped in by them. Brazilian midfielder Elsinho has also arrived while they have gone for experienced Indian players like Semboi Haokip and Imran Khan in the transfer window.

Rafael Crivellaro, Ishan Pandita, Harry Sawyer, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas all have left the club ahead of this new season.

JFC are into their 7th season in the ISL and have always been a competitive team. Hence the onus will be on the entire squad to improve from their last season's horror show, which saw them winning just 5 league matches in the entire season.
