Jamshedpur FC star Imran Khan emphasizes hard work to capitalize on positive ISL start

Jamshedpur FC winger Imran Khan emphasizes the importance of continuing their good work after a fantastic start to the season.

After their latest win over East Bengal, Jamshedpur sit 3rd in the ISL points table with 9 points in four matches. Imran Khan has been on a roll since the start of the season for Jamshedpur FC and has already registered 1 assist in the league.

The winger attributes the team's outstanding form to the excellent relationship the players have on and off the field.

"We all have a good relationship within the team. Jordan, Siverio, Javi, Len and Sanan speak a lot about the match on and off field, which help us to play better on matchdays. Everyone has good relationship and I am happy to see all of them working towards a common goal," said Imran to the club.

He emphasizes that the team can't get complacent despite a fantastic start and thinks they still have a long way to go in the season.

"The season is long and future is unpredictable. We have just started and we need to maintain the momentum. We need to work hard and do our best for the team and the fans. There are lot of work to be done and we are behind it," he added.

The speedy winger is banking on fan support and is excited again to play in front of a packed stadium. The JRD Tata Complex has always been in high voice for the Red Miners and Imran believes the support will be crucial if they are to win the league this season.

"I am very happy to see you know, the fans are really pushing us and standing with us. When you play in front of a full stadium, there is a lot of motivation to play for. We need to win the shield and the ISL trophy this season and the support from the fans is the most important factor. We need such support in all our matches," Imran concluded.

The Men of Steel will face Hyderabad FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on October 21 in their next ISL encounter.
