Jamshedpur FC will need a massive turnaround when they take on Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League at home on Thursday (December 7).
The Red Miners are currently at the second-bottom position of the ISL table with just 5 points after 8 matches. On the other hand, Chennaiyin are similarly in the bottom half of the table as they sit on 8th with 8 points after playing as many games.

The Red Miners have lost their last four league games, and the latest of them also came at their home against Odisha. Chennaiyin have a better record of late as they have accumulated two draws in their last two matches, one of which was a six-goal thriller against Kerala Blasters.
"Jamshedpur is very strong defensively but we don't change the way we play. We don't play defensive, we play to win games. But of course, as a group, we need to defend better because of the goals we lost at Kerala, which could be avoidable. So, that's about working with this young group, there are little bits that we have to improve on," Chennaiyin coach Owen Coyle said ahead of the match in a pre-match press conference.
