Al-Nassr stayed three points ahead of Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League after a 5-0 win over Al-Khaleej, with Joao Felix scoring twice in the second half and Cristiano Ronaldo missing again through injury but not being missed on the pitch.
Felix now leads Al-Nassr’s attack in Ronaldo’s absence, and the Portugal forward delivered another dominant performance, hitting a brace, supplying an assist and driving Al-Nassr’s attack as Jorge Jesus’ side kept control of the title race with eight league games still to play.

Al-Hilal matched Al-Nassr’s victory with a 1-0 success against Al-Fateh to maintain pressure near the top. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic struck the only goal in the 48th minute, giving Al-Hilal a third straight league win and ensuring the gap to Al-Nassr stayed at three points.
Al-Nassr’s scoring started on 30 minutes when Abdullah AlHamddan collected a pass and drove a low effort straight down the middle past Anthony Morris at Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium, giving the visitors early control before the attack fully clicked after the interval.
Eight minutes into the second half, Aiman Yahya drilled beyond Morris to double the advantage and open the game up. Felix then converted AlHamddan’s precise centre from close range on 73 minutes, before finishing again six minutes later after an Angelo assist as Al-Nassr ruthlessly punished Al-Khaleej.
Felix then turned creator in added time, sliding a clever pass through for Angelo to score the fifth goal and complete a one-sided display that underlined Al-Nassr’s attacking depth despite Ronaldo’s continued absence, keeping the team clear at the summit after another convincing away performance.
Felix has 15 league goals and 11 assists this season, giving 26 goal contributions, the most for Al-Nassr and three more than Ronaldo’s 23, as Felix hit seven of nine shots on target against Al-Khaleej and also created two clear scoring opportunities for teammates.
Al-Nassr finished with more attacking threat than the numbers even suggested, scoring five times from 2.65 expected goals, while Al-Khaleej reached only 1.15 expected goals, and that attacking edge helped Al-Nassr reinforce first place as the season moved into its decisive phase.
