Jose Mourinho, the former manager of Manchester United, has made a hilarious wish to his former club Manchester United regarding Manchester City.
Mourinho, who manages Fenerbahce, is set to welcome the Red Devils in a Europa League encounter on Thursday. And ahead of that, Mourinho humorously suggested that he still might receive a bonus for winning the league in the 2017-18 season, should City be stripped of their title.

The 2017-18 season marked Mourinho's last complete season at Old Trafford, where United finished runners-up to City. Despite City's firm denial of the 115 charges against them and their anticipation of a verdict by early 2025, the potential for sanctions, including the stripping of titles, looms.
During a press conference before Fenerbahce's Europa League game against United in Istanbul, Mourinho couldn't resist mentioning the legal troubles of Manchester City. He alluded to the possibility of United being awarded the 2017-18 Premier League title if City were penalized, joking about receiving a bonus and a medal as a result.
"As you know, we won the Europa League [in 2017] and we finished second in the Premier League [in 2018]. I think we still have a chance to win that league because maybe they punish Man City with points and maybe we win that league and then they have to pay me the bonus and give me the medal," Mourinho was quoted as saying by BBC.
Mourinho praised Manchester United's commitment to Erik ten Hag, the current manager, amidst challenging times, drawing a parallel to his own tenure. He expressed his good wishes for United, emphasizing that he harbours no ill feelings despite his dismissal in December 2018.
As the Turkish giants take on the Red Devils, they will be hoping for a decent outing. The last meeting between these two teams was in 2016 in the Europa League. Dick Advocaat's Fenerbahce won that group stage match 2-1 against Jose Mourinho's Man United.
