His comeback to Italy was not without its share of notable achievements. One standout moment was securing victory in the Europa Conference League, showcasing the manager's prowess in navigating European competitions.

Despite the glory of the Europa Conference League, European success proved elusive for Roma under Mourinho's leadership next season after he lost the Europa League final. The disappointment reached its zenith in the Europa League final of the previous season, where Roma narrowly missed clinching the coveted title.
Now after a disappointing season that has left Roma languishing in ninth in Serie A Mourinho was axed by the Italian side. This dismissal marked the sixth time in his illustrious managerial career that he found himself at the receiving end of such a decision.

In the second arrival, he claimed the Premier League but a turbulent time saw him getting the axe. This time he received a severance package of £12.5mil.
Real Madrid (2012)
After winning the La Liga in his second season, he was relieved of his duties in the third season midway. He received a massive £17mil as compensation.
Manchester United (2019)
Three titles in his first season in charge and the most points in the Premier League since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement could not save Mourinho from receiving the ultimatum in Old Trafford colors in the third season. He earned around £15mil from the sacking.
Tottenham (2021)
The only club in his career where Mourinho did not win any trophy. The Portuguese manager was let go in the second full season only which earned him a severance package of £16mil.
AS Roma (2024)
The latest sacking will see Mourinho receiving the lowest severance among all of his exits. Mourinho's contract was set to expire in the summer and the recent exit will only see him earn £3mil.
