Jurgen Klopp heaps praise of Chelsea and Arsenal flops ahead of Liverpool's PL clash against Luton Town

Jurgen Klopp has hailed Arsenal and Chelsea flops ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League encounter against Luton Town on Wednesday, February 21. The German faces a daunting challenge as he has a host of his key players out with injuries but the Reds have still managed to keep up their lead at the top of the Premier League.

Liverpool will take on Luton Town on Wednesday and Klopp will know that there is no margin for error against the Hatters who are having a season way beyond expectations. Although Rob Edwards’ side find themselves in the 18th position, they have still fared pretty well.

Luton were nailed on favorites to be relegated at the start of the season but have given almost every club a run for their money, particularly at home. Liverpool just managed to salvage a draw against them earlier this season thanks to a late Luis Diaz header and they are not the only big side to have struggled against the Hatters.

Ahead of the game, Jurgen Klopp hailed former Chelsea flop Ross Barkley and Arsenal loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga who have been instrumental for Luton this season. Klopp hailed Barkley for how well he has done after failing to live up to expectations earlier in his career. He also added that he is surpised to see Arsenal loaning a talented player like Lokonga out.

Klopp said: “Ross Barkley is one of these nice stories, if you want, who is back to his best, he plays a deeper role, super disciplined, on the ball is extremely strong. Lokonga when you see him playing and you think he’s an Arsenal player and they loaned him… interesting!”
