Jurgen Klopp announced about a month ago that he will leave Liverpool at the end of this season. With only a few months left of his tenure, the German coach is adding more accolades to his name with the Reds.
Liverpool faced Chelsea in the EFL Cup final and came out victorious at the end of the lengthy game. This brought the tally of Klopp’s trophies to eight since he joined the Reds in 2015.

His precious achievements with the club include leading them to their first Premier League trophy in 30 years back in the 2019-20 season. He also helped them win their first Champions League trophy in 14 years in the 2018-19 season.
Along with the most coveted domestic cup and the European trophy, he has also won the FA Cup (2021-22), FA Community Shield (2022), UEFA Super Cup (2019), UEFA Club World Cup (2019), and two EFL Cup trophies (2021-22 and 2023-24) so far with Liverpool.
Before the season ends, he could have three more trophies added to the cabinet. They are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table. They are set to face Slavia Prague in the Europa League round-of-16 stage and Southampton in the FA Cup 5th round.
Klopp was overjoyed when they won the EFL Cup and called it the most special trophy he has ever won. However, the road to winning the rest of the competitions at hand will undoubtedly be tougher.
The EFL Cup final match ran to the extra time as the official 90 minutes ended in a goalless draw. Both teams had one goal each disallowed due to being offside. However, as the extra time was nearing the end, Liverpool’s faithful defender Virgil Van Dijk broke the deadlock.
He scored the winner for the Reds in the 118th minute. However, in this match, they lost Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo to injuries. With that, they now have 12 first-team players injured, so their journey is set to get impossibly hard.
