Now to get rid of the long-standing groin issue, the player decided to go under the knife and recently had a surgery in Munich in the presence of Dr Claudio Rigo, with the operation being performed by Dr Ulrike Muschaweck.
"Juan Cuadrado underwent surgery today [Tuesday] on a long-standing groin problem," a Juve statement read. "Upon returning to Italy the player will immediately start his rehabilitation programme, with a period of about 30 days rest being foreseen as necessary before he returns to training."

This will see the versatile player missing on five Serie A matches and their major first leg tie against Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in Champions League round of 16.
However, if everything goes well the player could well be available for the second leg tie against Spurs in the away trip which is on 8th March.

Cuadrado has made 14 appearances so far in the league, scoring three goals and making four assists and in his absence, new signings Douglas Costa and Bernadeschi are expected to fill the void.
The defending Serie A champions are currently on a nine-match winning streak in all competitions though one point behind league leaders Napoli at the moment.
Get well soon Juan. We will surely need you when you return.
