Juventus moved back into the Serie A Champions League positions with a convincing 4-1 victory at Parma, highlighted by a brace from defender Bremer and two goals from Jonathan David. Weston McKennie also scored, though Juventus could slip from the top four if Roma defeat Udinese on Monday.
The win arrived just days after Juventus drew 0-0 with Monaco in the Champions League, and this response strengthened hopes of returning to UEFA’s main club tournament next season. Juventus controlled the contest for long spells and constantly threatened Parma’s defence with direct balls and set plays.

Juventus imposed authority across the match, finishing with 15 shots and an expected goals figure of 4.03, compared with Parma’s xG of 0.6 from 10 attempts. The visitors’ attacking numbers underlined how the decisive moments came through Bremer’s aerial strength and sharp reactions from McKennie and David inside the area.
Bremer’s display also extended an impressive scoring record among defenders in Europe’s major domestic competitions. Since registering the first Serie A goal in the 2019-20 season, Bremer has now reached 15 headed league goals. That tally moved Bremer ahead of Virgil van Dijk and Gabriel Magalhaes, who both stand on 14.
Early on, Juventus created danger through Francisco Conceicao, who dragged a shot just wide in the first minute and soon after struck the crossbar from a McKennie cross. Parma then survived further pressure before finally conceding on 15 minutes, when Conceicao’s curling corner found Bremer, whose powerful header beat Edoardo Corvi at the near post.
Juventus extended the lead eight minutes before half-time. Pierre Kalulu delivered a cross from the right, McKennie adjusted body shape and sent an acrobatic volley into the bottom-right corner. Parma responded after the break when Alessandro Circati’s deep cross was diverted into the Juventus net by Andrea Cambiaso for an own goal.
Any hope of a Parma comeback faded quickly. Three minutes after the own goal, Juventus used a short free-kick routine and McKennie’s header bounced off the bar. David reacted first and directed the ball goalwards, with Bremer making sure on the line as Juventus restored a two-goal cushion.
The visitors tightened control on 64 minutes. Conceicao’s low effort lacked power, yet Corvi spilled the ball, allowing David an easy finish from close range. Deep into stoppage time, Lois Openda fired into the bottom-left corner, but the goal was disallowed for offside following a VAR check.

Juventus leave Stadio Ennio Tardini with a clear scoreline, a stronger case for a Champions League place, and another reminder of Bremer’s value at both ends. The defensive unit limited Parma’s chances, while Bremer, McKennie and David supplied the cutting edge that decided this Serie A meeting.
