Juventus manager Thiago Motta has urged his team to refocus as they prepare to face Venezia in Serie A. After a Champions League victory over Manchester City, Juventus moved up to 14th in the standings. Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie scored in that match. However, Juventus have struggled to secure wins in recent league games, drawing nine out of their first 15 matches.
Despite being unbeaten this season, Juventus find themselves sixth in the table, seven points behind Atalanta. They face Venezia next, who are at the bottom of the standings. Motta remains cautious about underestimating Eusebio Di Francesco's side. He emphasised that past victories are irrelevant now and stressed the importance of respecting every opponent.

Motta stated, "Obviously the victory helps, but the group is focused on the next one." He added that their approach remains consistent with respect and seriousness towards all opponents. This mindset is crucial as they aim to improve their position in Serie A.
Juventus will be without key players like Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal, Arkadisuz Milik, and Andrea Cambiaso due to injuries. Jonas Rouhi is also unavailable after getting injured against Bologna. However, Nicolas Gonzalez is set to return after missing 14 games with muscular issues.
Motta expressed optimism about Gonzalez's return: "Nico returns to the group; he is very happy because he has worked a lot to make himself available." Motta hopes Gonzalez can play some minutes against Venezia.
Motta will not be on the sidelines for this match due to a red card received against Bologna. He will watch from the stands but trusts his team to perform well. Motta believes observing from above might offer different insights into the game dynamics.
He commented on his absence: "It will be the first time. I think and hope that it will have little impact." Motta expects his absence might even increase his team's sense of responsibility during the match.
As Juventus prepares for their upcoming fixture against Venezia, they aim to maintain their unbeaten record while addressing challenges both on and off the field. The team seeks to climb higher in Serie A standings by focusing on each game with determination and respect for their opponents.
